Why you can trust a Lawyer with your money

HomeWhy you can trust a Lawyer with your money
byPress Release

When you entrust money to a registered legal practitioner in a legal matter, it is automatically protected by the Legal Practitioners Fidelity Fund. All legal practitioners who practice for their own account are required to hold and display a Legal Practitioner Fidelity Fund Certificate.

If you entrust monies to a legal practitioner, make sure that the legal practitioner  has a valid fidelity fund certificate. If you believe that a legal practitioner has misappropriated your money in the course of the legal matter or management of a trust fund, immediately report it to the Legal Practitioners Fidelity Fund. In terms of the Legal Practitioners Act 15 of 1995, the Fund will investigate the matter with your assistance. If your claim is proven true, the Legal Practitioners Fidelity Fund will reimburse you for your loss. Find out when and how to report your allegation at www.fidelityfundnam.com
